Fixed ? It's not fixed it'only a workaround.
Today i've updated kubuntu-default-settings.
There are only a modification of the boot screen image.
The quality is poor, and there are font problem on displaying the crypt password box / data (see att.)
Why the ubuntu version is ok (and very nice), tested on the same computer ?
Why these difference on the (k)ubuntu version ?, I think there in the kubuntu version have to change only the Desktop enviroment (Kde/gome) , not the boot system or other software (only the logo, but it's only a image!)
Why can compete on desktop market with this "bugs" (see bug nr. 1) ?
