You don't need testing the fix from my repo, the fix is already in lucid-proposed, just enable lucid-proposed in your source.list .

<< Resolution is slightly better but not excellent. Needs more fixing and testing.
There's no way for now to fix the resolution issue with vga16 framebuffer.
