Hi there,
Thanks for attaching the above. Can you run the following:
sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf
then press Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to restart the X server
Then there should be a /var/log/Xorg.0.log file as you needed to have made that attempt as descibed above for it be present.
