Comment 18 for bug 410466

I am running KDE 4.3 RC3 in Kubuntu Jaunty, from the corresponding PPA build:

This is an upgrade from 4.2.4 (from the Jaunty PPA, too). Everything works fine, except for logout, which just doesn't work. Actually, none of the logout options works (logout, reboot, etc). After choosing the selected option, and confirming that you want to logout, nothing happens.

Other users have verified this behavior, so it is possible but unlikely that this is something local to my machine:

I rushed to make this bug report due to the proximity of the KDE 4.3 release. Please let me know if there is anything else I can try to debug this.
