I can also observe this bug. Steps to reproduce this for me are:

- change desktop effects from custom to none in appearance
- change back to custom.
- confirm the message that you want to keep the settings.
- jockey crashes.

I am running all updates as of april 12th, using fglrx on a X1600. Desktop effects work fine by the way. Appart from the crash message everything seems to work just like it should.
