The reinstallation of the bcmwl-kernel-source package let me activate the STA driver, only after I have run again the activation via "Hardware drivers" manager GUI tool. The GUI still shows that the driver is not active (?), but it starts working.

What happens next is that the computer freezes after a few seconds of activating the STA driver.

This is a shiny new macbook pro with an nvidia card, running 9.10 installed from a beta 5 and dist-upgraded to today.
