I went back and removed the files /etc/udev/rules.d/51-local.rules, and commented the line in /etc/udev/rules.d/40-permissions.rules, so when the package is updates (hopefully fixing this) it will be overwritten.
It also worked, but using both methods the error keeps appearing when umounting and SD card.
