Thank you for your bug report. However, it's not complete. We'd like to get some more information before the developer can fix the bug.
First of all the output of the command 'gnome-power-bugreport.sh' added in a file would help. Also we'd like to have the output of the command 'hal-find-by-capability --capability "battery" ', which lists all batteries available on the system(please do this with and without the patch).
The output of 'dbus-monitor --session "type='signal',interface='org.freedesktop.PowerManagement'" ' is also nice to have, but this command doesn't list things like the previous, but it's more like syslogd. Everytime something happens(power (un)plugged, battery almost empty, etc), it will be listened here(the command has to be executed before the event).
Would you also include the output of this command: 'gconftool --recursive-list /apps/gnome-power-manager'
