Hi,

It's been quite some time since the release and my U100 is still unusable with Karmic (brightness flickers, not usb hotplug, no SD card hotplug, webcam doesn't work)

I had to reinstall 9.04 (Which works perfectly with this netbook, btw). Such serious regressions shouldn't really occur in a distro as popular as Ubuntu.

-- side note: the brightness bug also occurs in the just-released Fedora 12, and didn't happen in 11. maybe this can shed some light on the module causing the problem.
