@Ian, thanks for the log - it shows, that Gwibber can't be fixed to register on Facebook immediately - as it is Facebook, which is limiting requests from one application.

A call to others - please, stop posting "That didn't work for me" and "Workaround #x worked for me" comments without the log attached - use "This bug affects me" feature. If your log contains some Facebook error (except "4 - Application request limit reached") - attach the log or, possibly, steps to reproduce, this will be really helpful for the developers.

Also, if somebody knows the way to loosen the limit, please, specify it - as for now these is no way to avoid these errors in Gwibber
