Tried everything without success...
# Removed Gwibber completely using synaptic
# Killed gwibber processes
# Removed all gwibber database in: firefox ~/.local/share/desktop-couch/couchdb.html
# rm -r ~/.gconf/apps/gwibber
# rm -r ~/.config/gwibber/
# Removed Gwibber from facebook application
# Installed daily ppa of Gwibber version 2.31.94
# Opened firefox on page facebook/username
# Opened gwibber, tried to add facebook account. Authorization success but alas no Add button....

One note: Under gwibber the shown facebook page is in Italian (even if my primary language in facebook is english, tried italian too). Lucid 10.04 latest standard updates. Twitter and other accounts works well, even if also they are in Italian.
