Confirming, as I hit this Friday at UDS.
The odd bit is that Thursday night at UDS it *did* play the DVD instead of showing that popup, but it still didn't play right. It was all garbled. I had no success with VLC, though. VLC would display an image and play sound for a second, then go silent and blank for a few more seconds.
