The powerpc build is still pending as the powerpc buildds are currently pretty loaded. It should hopefully build within the next days. You can watch its status at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gparted/0.6.2-1ubuntu1.1/+build/2060530

The debs in maverick-proposed are different from those in natty. They just share the same fix which got included upstream and the gparted version in natty contains that version already.
