I've set up a multiterminal (multiseat) system with Ubuntu 9.04 (jaunty). One part of reconfiguration was to change Driver "kbd" to "evdev" inside xorg.conf. The problem with down-arrow and left-arrow appears on both terminals.

Thanks to the community for a workaround and hope it will be fixed in next release.
