@Daniel: I'm sorry, I momentarily forgot that the summary of this bug had changed since I first filed it. When I filed it the summary was something like "incorrect profiling files created", and indeed the profiling files created in ~/.gnome2/gnome-power-manager are called 'profile-generic_id-generic..." and so on. With that patch (at least I _think_ it's that patch), the files are named 'profile-CP194245-XX....' and so on. This might be relevant when having two batteries, I don't know..
