Johanpdx, check the version number of evolution-data-server in Synaptec. If you have the proposed update the version number will be 2.22.1-0ubuntu2.1.

I can confirm that I have the proposed update and am not seeing the issue anymore, but I was unable to reproduce the problem yesterday, even before installing the update.
