Various bugs have been marked as duplicates of this one, but each refers to different cities. Documenting here the cities whose timezones are set incorrectly:

Eugene, OR (should be America/Los_Angeles, is set to America/Boise)
Portland, OR (should be America/Los_Angeles, is set to America/Vancouver)
Bombay/Santacrus (Asia/Karachi -> Asia/Calcutta)
Houston, TX (America/Monterrey -> America/Chicago)
Nashville, TN (America/Kentucky/Monticello -> America/Chicago)
St. Petersburg, Russia (Europe/Helsinki -> Europe/Moscow)

This may indicate multiple buggy entries in a database used for timezone mapping - or, it might suggest that the timezones are wrongly chosen based on which city is closest to the indicated city?
