Thank you but I don't confirm that:

- start the dialog
- select the "new e-mail" or "empty trash" line
- click on default, select custom in the combo, select question.wav

the question.wav is displayed in the next colum and clicking on the play icon plays the sound

what soundfile did you try? is it displayed in the next column?
