Thank you very much for reporting this bug. It's caused by some "typo" in GNOME Color Chooser 0.2.4 (click this link for more details: http://gnomecc.sourceforge.net/forum/index.php?topic=19.msg46#msg46 ).

Until Ubuntu syncs with the latest Debian version of the gnome-color-chooser package, you can use my PPA, which contains GNOME Color Chooser 0.2.5 (only). That version should work for you again.
