Here's a screen shot of the libc6 package in Adept in the broken state after the failed upgrade incident.

Another package that also appears broken in my list is "xbase-clients". My system still appears reasonably unaffected by the failure although Adept wanted to update via Hardy sources. I've since switched back to Gutsy sources until this bug is resolved, then I'll attempt to resume the upgrade from scratch again).
