Also, I think we should update this bug to reflect that it isn't a GIMP bug, but a GTK bug. There's a little more information here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=661872

Basically, since it goes away if you disable the input events in GIMP, and since it affects the desktop too, it can't be a GIMP-specific bug.
