Daniel, I have tried removing those lines, but it looks like
@GNOME_TEAM@ isn't replaced because there already exists a sed -e
substitution.
Found something in the changelog:

* Set DISABLE_UPDATE_UPLOADERS; build-dep on gnome-pkg-tools >= 0.11."
