Back here because even with Terminal Server Client, it doesn't work.
You need xnest package to enable xdmcp in protocol menu from Terminal Server Client.
But the most frustrating is that it starts, works 30 sec to login and then kicks you out (using a server that runs xdmcp fine with Hardy).
Error message :
X error of failed request: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request : 70 (X_PolyFillRect
Resource id in failed request: 0x0
The first error message reported missing cyrillic fonts, but has been corrected by adding xfonts-cyrillic. It's quite funny because i don't use cyrillic fonts...
