I can confirm this bug for:
Firefox Version 21.0-1 (64bit)
glib Version: 2.36.2-1
Distribution: Arch Linux
Kernel: 3.9.4-1-ARCH

This bug renders Firefox unusable for me, as it crashes almost immediately.

The proposed workaround with "G_SLICE=always-malloc" does not work on my machine.
