Mint 17.2, based on Ubuntu 14.04.1 bug is still here:

firefox -v

GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed
Mozilla Firefox 41.0.1

Also, when firefox starts, it's slow and opens in blocks on the screen instead of all at once.
