I am experiencing the same thing with Google Reader, I have this bug with extensions or no extensions in Firefox 3.5.3 and 3.5.4. I recently did a fresh install to Ubuntu 9.10 , but; I was experiencing this in Ubuntu 9.04. It does not happen in Firefox 3.6 beta or 3.0. I am using a Nvidia 7800gt I had this bug using the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-185.19 and NVIDIA-Linux-x86-190.32 drivers.
