What i wanted to write was that maybe this firefox bug should be closed, because its possible that there was a conflict in packages as they were drawn from difference sources. To explain further:
My fresh install was Ubuntu 9.04, after the fresh install i added packages from Linux Mint 7 Gloria and since then kept the respos for both Linux Mint gloria and Ubuntu 9.04.
because of the bug / or the issue with firefox and my dependence on firefox i decided to reinstall 9.04 and to use any Linux Mint packages - the result Firefox is back to normal no issues.
So am wondering if the people concerned would / could mark this bug as closed.
