Ok tried that , to add a new profile and use that,
that did not solve the problem
I tried to update to the latest in the repositories, even enabled the pre-released and unsupported the updates.
Tried uninstalling firefox completely - Complete Removal and then reinstalled only version 3.0.12
The result is the same - the pages still do not appear and they appear as i described earlier.
So am wondering if its a problem of of firefox on the particular kernal versions i am using
Linux ram-laptop 2.6.28-13-generic #45-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 30 19:49:51 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
Opera works fine
Tried installting seamonkey but the sometimes crashes ??
