This is _not_ a feature for users who are stuck with dial-up. I do not have access to other types of connection where I live, and to me this is a deal-breaker. Firefox just becomes needlessly hard to use, and that is very demotivating, considering there is no reason to omit an about:config tweak to re-enable the cursor.

I sincerely do not understand why this patch was silently slipped in inbetween betas 3 and 4, without consideration for the implications.

It was a rushed decision, and quite frankly, a mistake.
