It's downloaded from kernel.org and i compiled it myself. And yes, it's out of repositories so far. I'm using gnome.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand what do you mean by WM?
This "bug" happens everywhere and every time. Whenever i try to copy any kind of text I have to keep opened the application where I'm coping from. Otherwise the PC doesn't "remember" the copied text.
A good example:
A message pops up on my desktop. Let say it is some error like this: "The volume control did not find any elements and/or devices to control. This means either that you don't have the right GStreamer plugins installed, or that you don't have a sound card configured."
When I copy this message from the popup window i have to keep it opend until i have pasted this message to somewhere. If I close the window before i paste the text, the text isn't anymore in memory.
And it's everywhere and with any kind of program, application, window and so on. Firefox, nautilus, terminal, any text editor, etc.
