When I launch FF 3.5.5, I get more than a dozen password prompts, all at once, many of them duplicated. When I launch FF 3.6b4, I get fewer than half a dozen prompts, seemingly consecutive instead of simultaneous, and only one per site. (I have multiple tabs open per site.)
So I call it fixed. Those who say it is not fixed, are you sure the issue you are seeing is the same one described here (in the description / comment 0)?
