But this has been the situation for 3 years now. Why are we to believe that another 3 years won't go by with still no fix? In the three years that have gone by, how many releases have been made with how many new features added and this bug not fixed?

Then please give it a priority that gets it better treatment than allowing 3 years to pass without it being fixed. Please.
