There is a new high to this bug.
I just started my FF 2.0.0.16, the windows appeared. One had an "accept incomplete HTTPS certificate" dialog. O clicked OK and ...
The normal (nonpassworded) tabs were working.
The tabs requering a password were empty with spinning throbber.
No password dialogs anywhere.
I can browse in the loaded tabs. Open new tab and windows.
When visiting a page with password input field and submitting it, that page(tab) hangs too.
Menu File / Exit does not work. (no reaction, I can continue to use FF as if I did not click Exit)
I will now kill it and hope it remembers the tabs.
