Yes, this affects Mozilla's trunk builds too (has done for several weeks). I can't discern any difference between the symptoms in Mozilla's builds versus Ubuntu's.

(By the way, this bug's title mentions just one symptom of the larger problem: “Xulrunner displays some images incorrectly (as copies of other parts of the screen or black rectangles) or not at all, especially when scaled” would be a more complete description.)
