The BBC homepage beta in Firefox 3

In Firefox 3, several background images don't appear.

The frames around “Customise homepage”, “Set your location” and “Reset homepage” are absent; these are background images and are GIF (presumably transparent GIF, though I haven't checked).

The arrow to the left of the “News” heading (bottom left of the picture), and the frame around “Edit” to its right are both also gone. (I assume without checking that these are background images.)

So far this bug has been seen affecting background images in PNG and GIF formats; I'm not sure whether it affects fully opaque images.
