I have found that using ``Option "XaaNoOffscreenPixmaps"'' slows down
some xscreensaver programs (fuzzyflakes, deluxe, twang). What I have done,
instead, is to run the X server using ``DefaultDepth 16'' instead of 24.
This fixes the problem fine for me.

System specs (in case it helps):
X : xorg-6.9.0
GPU: nVidia GeForce2 MX Integrated Graphics (pci id: 10de:01a0 (rev b1))
MEM: 32MB shared (main memory 256 MB). 32MB graphics aperture size.
MB: Asus A7N266-VM
CPU: AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2000+
