Confirmed: this is no longer an issue in Hardy Heron.
Can someone please update the bug subject line? It currently reads:
Scaled images rendered incorrectly; some images not shown at all (apparently Linux- & Nvidia-related)
I think a more appropriate subject line would be:
Scaled images rendered incorrectly when XAA Offscreen Pixmaps is enabled in X Server
Also, given that XAA is being deprecated and major distros like Ubuntu are disabling XaaOffscreenPixmaps by default, shouldn't the bug status be changed to WONTFIX?
