Toltech, 'Unknown' is for upstream bug status, and just means the bug updater scripts couldn't figure out the upstream priority. It is 'invalid' for firefox-3.0 since the core issue was identified to be an X issue rather than firefox itself.

For X issue importance, Critical is reserved for bugs which are very widespread, prevent the user from booting/logging in to the X session, and lack an available workaround. High importance bugs are ones that result in crash/data loss, screen corruption, or other things that render some minority of systems unusable. Medium importance bugs are visual glitches or bad cosmetic issues or other things that degrade the usefulness of the computer but don't make it unusable. Low importance are cosmetic or easily worked around issues, or more serious issues that occur only extremely infrequently. So medium importance is the correct setting here.

Note that Importance != Prioritization. This bug is milestoned for 8.04 and assigned to a dev, which means it has the highest prioritization already.

Toltech, I hope this answers your question.
