Agreed, I was going to do this but wanted to make sure there was no duplication of effort since this is such a common bug. This should probably go to one or both of two places, depending if we can figure out where the problem lies: (1) the xorg bug tracker; (2) the cairo bug tracker.

Some builds of F9 have fixed some but not all images for me. It's a weird bug like that, there's definitely a race condition aspect to this bug. Sometimes images will draw partially but when I scroll or refresh, they disappear again. Sometimes a whole image blinks on for a second and then totally disappears. This is usually only true if the image is loading progressively though (which is where the non-determinacy probably comes from, and may explain why different builds and/or hardware combos exhibit varying symptoms).
