Also, to clear up one point, I've been working directly with ATI on their scheduling for ensuring we get an -fglrx for Jaunty since before Jaunty started.

Regarding the proprietary/foss stuff and so on, that's off topic for this bug and just adds clutter. Better to discuss all that on the forums.
