Actually, using the fglrx driver and its composite extension to activate compiz result in having buggy rendering of most opengl apps :

 * glchess just gives a black window (it works if compiz is shut down)
 * glxgears is just as buggy as in bug 192550
 * other OGL apps I've tried are either black or with a bug like the one of glxgears 192550
