AMD has accepted this bug as EPR#257833. As mentioned above, they suspect it matches one of their feature development items.

Of course, it is certainly possible that some of the users duped to this bug are actually seeing unrelated problems. If you are certain what you are seeing is something different than the original report, please feel free to un-dupe or file a new bug against fglrx-installer.
