Comment 5 for bug 74282

I've confirmed that rebuilding ffmpeg with --disable-altivec fixes the problem for applications dynamically linked with the ffmpeg libraries.

Unfortunately, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg includes its own copy of ffmpeg which it statically links, so programs using GStreamer still don't work.
