I am now looking to fix LP: #2061664 in the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS release, ideally before its release.

I have prepared a source package for noble targeting the fix. Now, I am looking for a sponsor (e.g., from ~ubuntu-sponsors) to review and upload my package to noble. Thanks!
