For all those who are interested, I am currently testing an Ubuntu package of F-Spot which is patched to not alter timestamps, except when asked to do so via the usual "Adjust Time..." dialog.
This is a standard Ubuntu Karmic build of F-Spot 0.6.1.4, with all automatic timestamp altering removed.
Please note that I can't provide much support for this package aside from updating to new versions when released. However, there should be no new issues with this version, as the patch is relatively trivial.

You may find it in my PPA here: https:/ /launchpad. net/~smcgrath23 /+archive/ smcgrath
