the issue is not credited with anything, the work is just done by volunteers and there way too many tasks for the number of contributors, you are free to help there if you want, for now we focus on issues which affect all users on ubuntu and not only those who need to migrate datas once especially when there is command lines tools doing the job as a workaround for those who really need to do that until the change lands, I would be happy to sponsor a libpst update if anybody manage to get it to build though
