Per the duplicate ticket, this was the fix for me:
1. Click "Folder" -> "Subscriptions". 2. Choose the IMAP account from the "Server" pulldown menu. 3. Uncheck the "Inbox" folder. 4. Click the "Close" button. 5. Restart Evolution.
The Inbox folder will be automatically resubscribed and correctly resummarized.
