Don't assign bugs to persons or groups, it won't make anyone fix anything faster. And stop posting workarounds, the bug report should focus only on a SRU bugfix (use forums for workarounds). Only assign it to yourself if you intend to work on this bug and have the necessary skills. Many many bugs spiral out of control with rants and complaints and then the useful info gets buried and it takes longer to fix it.
The best thing you can do if you want this bug fixed faster is find someone on IRC who has got the skills to fix this bug and then post the LP url to them and explain why it's important.
