Still affecting Ubuntu alpha 6 with updates as of 27 Sep 09.

I can boot the first time in the morning, but if I shut down then attempt to boot again, I never get to the login screen.

I've attached yesterday's syslog with the first (successful) then subsequent (unsuccessful) boot attempts; hope it helps.

Ubuntu alpha 6 in VBox 3.0.6 on ubuntu 8.04.3.
