The use of the "ps2write" output device of Ghostscript in the pdftops filter is not yet possible in CUPS, due to http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=690475

For the time being, use the PPD files from the openprinting-ppds-extra Ubuntu package. The PPDs on OpenPrinting will be updated soon.

Anyone using an HP printer, please use Generic PPD files for now and remove and re-create your queue as soon as you have installed the update of foomatic-db-engine from -proposed.
